It involves visiting the four pilgrim sites in Uttarakhand, namely Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamnotri, all of which have ancient temples and mythological importance associated with them in Hinduism. Each and every place out of the four holds a different story to tell. Visit them and find out for yourself.

Badrinath - The temple holds the idol of Badrinarayan found by Adi Shankracharya in the holy Alkananda River. Along with this, it has the pristine view of the snow-capped heights of the mighty Himalayas.

Kedarnath - This temple holds one of the 12 Jyotirlingas (i.e. Shivlings) around India. Placed in the shadows of the snow-clad Himalayas, it is also a famous trek for adventure seekers.

Gangotri - One the most important pilgrimages in the Char Dham yatra is Gangotri, primarily because it is seated on the banks of the Bagirathi river which is the origin point of the holiest river Ganga.
